Dùng một nồi nhỏ để hấp, xếp các mẫu bánh mì vào nồi hấp chừng 5 phút cho nóng và đủ mềm.
Sau khi hấp bánh xong, phết ít hành phi lên bánh, rồi cho phần thịt đã xào lên trên mặt.
Làm nước mắm chua cay chấm: tỏi, ớt cho vào cối dã nát cùng với 1 muỗng canh đường, một 1/2 muỗng cafe bột ngọt. Sau đó, vắt ít nước cốt tắc vào trong nước mắm để có vị chua vừa đủ.
