Easy enough for a 5 year old and fun for ...
Enjoyable game for all ages. Easy enough for a 5 year old and fun for adults too. Sometimes there is a lull where nobody can do much but the more players u include, the less likely there will be that lull. Hearty playing!

This game is FUN!! Played this when I was a kid
This game is FUN!! Played this when I was a kid, with MY own kids and now I bought it, to play when the girlfriends gather, for some "girl time"! It's a quick and easy game to learn & it doesn't take much time to play, so you can play several rounds of the game, in a couple hrs. This is a game that can be played, with young n old alike, can be played by youngsters on their own as well ! This is one of those games a family should have, in the family game night stash and because it's a card game-it's a great one to take, on a family vacation, to play at the hotel/lodge/cabin,etc This is one you will enjoy for years ahead! Well worth the money!

Like Uno with less hatred & anger.
A good game to play while drinking and talking- it doesn't require too much focus & the rules are fast to learn. The more players, the faster a game tends to go (don't play with only two people, it'll last forever). I assume this game would also be good for kids- the only skill you really need to play is the ability to count up to 12.

Hours and hours of fun
I had to add more card to the set as my wife and I play with large stacks to get rid of. Love this game. I find it more fun with its just two of us playing as you can really stick it to the other person. When the 11 year old plays my wife and her try to keep me from winning as I normally win as I am so cut throat. They don't care about they're stacks as long as it messes with mine. It's my favorite game of all the games we play. Each game is different then the last. The moment you flip a card from your stack it can either be good or bad so the anticipation is enjoyable. Since you never know what the next card will bring you have to plan ahead and be prepared for anything. Two 11's in a row... No problem I've got this.

Love this game!
We played this game at a cabin trip and it was a HUGE hit!!!! this game is amazing. easy to learn and easy to play. The game does not last for forever (I get aggravated with games that seem to never end) Best played with probably 4 people, but you can play with as little as 2. I bought this game ASAP after I returned from the trip Its small and easy to bring places Great for all ages (I plan on teaching my parents to play this, I think they will love it)

Awesome for homeschool!
This is an amazing addition to our game collection! We have over 25 board and card games to supplement our homeschooling efforts. This one was recommended by a friend whose kids love the game. My son is 6 and this is an awesome way for him to practice numeracy! I still help him a lot with the overall game, but he asks for this very often and its especially nice that a lost card or two will not really affect play. I would recommend this very highly to any family, but especially to homeschooling families who use play as learning.

A game for all generations
I love this card game. Finding this game on Amazon was a nostalgic find for me because our family used to play this on Friday nights when I was younger and I wanted to continue that tradition with my own children. The cards look a little different than the original cards but they are still great, brightly colored and the game is fun. My children ask to play over and over and it is often a favorite on our game nights. I strongly recommend this game for families off all ages. Our 7 year old is able to play with just a little bit of assistance right alongside my 85 year old grandparents. A game that withstands generations!

one of our favorites
My husband and I are senior citizens. I wish I could buy by the 6 pack as we go through these over time. We play every other day and it's so much fun. Of course, there i some random luck involved, but there is strategy in how you manage your piles and judging when to play and when to hold back. I love that two people can play (not true with many games) and we travel with this and play in doctor's offices and in airports.

I ordered this Skip Bo game, because my grandson had played it at a friends house and loved it. Got it before Christmas and played it with adults and teens. They all had a great time. It is easy to learn and keeps your attention. It is great because you can still have conversations when playing it. It is good for family and friends and teens too.

Fun family game
I've been playing Skip-Bo for about 20 years. The game is really simple to teach and I play with my clients at work since they can learn quickly without a lot of skill. There are some strategies in this game that include anticipating a peer's move or using simple probability to enhance a player's own chances of having a more favourable play in one or two turns. That can make the game easier for an adult or practiced player than a newer or very young player. That being said, it's only a small part. Even with my 20 years of playing, I lose to the teens I taught to play a month ago. I think it's fun for about ages 7 and up and my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins, Mom, Grandpa) played it for years at gatherings. It is not a more involved game so it's easy to multitask/talk while playing
